Hard Knocks with the NY Jets
We’re less than a month until the Jets hit HBO with Hard Knocks. As of now Hard Knocks will not be shown at Mazzy’s. If we have enough people interested we can possibly change this. Please email me and let me know if you want to watch the episodes at Mazzy’s. If Mazzy’s does not work out we may look to watch somewhere else. Details to follow.
All Preseason Games will be available at Mazzys!!
Once again your Atlanta spot to watch all 4 of the Jets pre-season games will be at Mazzy’s. There has been some discussions about a group trip to Carolina for the 2nd pre-season game. Anyone interested?
2010 at Mazzy’s
For those of you who missed out on the last 2 playoff games at Mazzy’s you missed quite the events. Over 200 strong watched the Jets knock out the Chargers and then over 250 crazy Jets fans watched as our Super Bowl dreams ended with a loss to the Colts.
While 2009 was an amazing success 2010 will be even better. We are adding another 100 inch projection screen with extra speakers on the right hand side and we will have extra seating available on the left side of the bar. By the end of 2010 there is no reason we shouldn’t fill up the entire bar with Jets fans, we know you are out there! To make things run smoothly Mazzy’s will be adding extra staff to make sure everyone has the best experience possible.

So mark your calendars and join us at Mazzy’s on August 16 as the Jets face the Giants in our first pre-season game.

Now I know what 200 Atlanta Jets Fans Sound Like

JETS WIN
What a game and what a turnout by our Atlanta Jets Fans. I stopped counting at 170 but there were still Jets fans pouring into the other side of the bar so 200 is a conservative guess.  Thank you all for coming out to support the club and lets keep spreading the word so that we can fill the entire bar with green and white on February 7th (you know what game that is). Special thanks to those of you that shared your tables and allowed us to squeeze in as many people as possible. We will have both sides of the bar next week so there will plenty of seating for everyone.

Q100
We got surprise publicity from Q100 last week when Bert of the Bert Show mentioned he was looking for a Jets fan bar to go watch the game on Sunday. Some of you immediately called the show and let Atlanta know that Mazzys is the ONLY place to come and watch the games on Sundays. Bert is a Chargers fan and was only trying some reverse karma in rooting for the Jets (epic fail by the way). Bert didn’t come to Mazzys but we got a bunch of new Atlanta Jets Fans because of it so thanks to Q100.

Sports Radio
As you can guess we’re not going to get any respect from Atlanta Sports Radio so be sure to call in and set the record straight… DEFENSE WINS CHAMPIONSHIPS.

Now we get a rematch with Indy. Mazzys will be open at noon. I’m going to try to find a DVD of the Jets/Colts from Superbowl III to entertain those of you who come early.  There are a few people from the club who are making the trip to Indy so if you want to meet up or want some information on how to attend the game let me know.

Not much to say but 4:40 PM SUNDAY… MAZZYS … BE THERE!!!

We had a record breaking 130 people for last weeks game, lets see if we can hit 150!!!! As you know seating is first come first serve so get there early!
