What an ugly game in Charlotte

We had a pretty good crowd at Mazzy’s for Preseason Game 2 despite a good number of our group went up to Charlotte for the game. Frank made it on TV and did a great Jets chant before the game started. I’m looking forward to seeing pictures from the weekend (email them to me so I can add them to the site)

Notice I haven’t said a word about the game….

Pre-season Game 3 Friday Night at Mazzy’s

This is the real test for our #1’s as they should play most if not all of the first half and go through all of the same motions as game day. You won’t see starters in game 4 so this is the last chance to check out the starting squad. See you Friday night at Mazzy’s.

Reevis back this Wednesday??? Mangold with a new deal as well?

If you believe Tim Cawlishaw than the Jets and Reevis will announce a deal sometime soon (most likely Wednesday). Cawlishaw reported this over the weekend via twitter. Just about every Jets beat writer and NFL expert have said this is not true but are leaving a possibility open only because Cawlishaw has a good reputation. Fingers crossed he is right.

What is being reported by most of the Jets beat writers is a new contract is on the horizon for Mangold and I personally am pretty happy about this. I want Mangold to have a new contract before Reevis because if you ask me Mangold did it right. While wanting a new contract he trusted the Jets would get it done and reported to camp on time, that should be rewarded and it looks like it may be happening this week.

Hard Knocks

Hopefully you have all seen the first episode of Hard Knocks on HBO. What a Great Show!!! A few of us got together at my house to watch episode 1 and had a great time. If you would like to join us for any of the remaining shows shoot me an email we would love for you to join us. Speaking of episode 1, If anyone has an idea of how I can get a reservation at Cafe Ryan let me know!!!

Hard Knocks will NOT be shown at Mazzy’s

Unfortunately Mazzy’s will not be able to show Hard Knocks because they do not have HBO. If anyone does not have HBO or just wants to get together as a group and watch let me know as we’re looking for an alternate location. It will be in the Marietta area.
